City of East Point
The City of East Point, Fulton County Arts Council and The East Point Main Street Association have partnered to present to the Community and metro Area, DEP.
Many thanks to the Departments Heads and Mayor and Council for appropriating funds for the Festival to make it an event that is good exposure for Businesses, Residents, Local Artists, and visitors from outside East Point. Economic Development, Fire Department, Police, Public Works, the City Clerks Office.
Fulton County Arts Council
Tour de ’29 Festival of Cities was started by Fulton County Commissioner William Bill Edwards.” The Fulton County Arts Council, provides help with Project Management and funding for all music.
The mission of the Tour de 29 Festival is to promote unity, economic and cultural growth in South Fulton County. South Fulton businesses, organizations and communities collaborate with each other and artists from the Greater Atlanta Area to host the Tour de 29 Festival which consist of arts centered activities at various traditional and nontraditional venues on or near Highway 29. The City of East Point has been a strong participant each year since this initiative began.
The East Point Main Street Association, Inc. (EPMSA)
EPMSA is a downtown revitalization organization created by the Mayor and Council of East Point in an effort to preserve and enhance the central business district of downtown East Point.
Through festivals and special events, beautification efforts and attracting businesses to the downtown all create a sense of place that brings the community to the Main Street district. People in our downtown, on the sidewalks, eating in restaurants and visiting businesses, helps to create a successful and thriving business district. Downtown is important and vital to the entire community for reasons related to tax base, tourism public and private investments and community heritage. A healthy downtown translates into healthy suburbs and other areas of a city.
Consider joining the EPMSA by signing up to be an annual sponsor of the program and its efforts. The EPMSA, Inc. is a non-profit corporation and has obtained its 501c3 status from the internal Revenue Service. All contributions are tax deductible.
