Chili Cook-off
Neighborhoods get prepared to show off your Chili expertise! Participation is FREE and the prize for the winning entry is a gift certificate to Oz Pizza! Simply register (see flyer), then bring your neighborhood’s precooked homemade chili in a crock-pot (power is provided) and place it at the EPMSA Chili table with a spoon for serving! Chili will be available for patrons to sample for $2/cup and proceeds will be split with the Neighborhood and EPMSA More info »
6th Annual Neighborhood Board Contest
Sponsored by the Employee Ambassador Program (EAP), the purpose of this contest is to build community pride by sharing positive information about East Point to visitors and prospective residents & businesses. Tell people why your neighborhood is the best in East Point! Let people know where your neighborhood is, include information about the character of your neighborhood (types of homes, amenities, etc.), include neighborhood activities (socials, beautification projects and other gatherings) and overall show why you love living there. Simply put together a board display(24”x36” format) of pictures, little known facts, maps, neighborhood flags, etc. The winning neighborhood entry will receive a gift certificate to Oz Pizza! In addition, boards will be displayed by the City, Boards & Commissions and other area organizations to give attendees an overall picture of what East Point has to offer!
