According to Paste Magazine, Jackson County Line ―camps out at the mellow end of the alt.country spectrum‖. Unique instrumentation featuring guitar, cello, mandolin, cornet, pedal steel, bass and drums affords this seven piece the flexibility to bring a wall or a whisper to the stage. Songs about the beauty and melancholy of life in the South will remind you why you love living here, or make you wish that you did.
Formed in 2006 Jackson County Line performs throughout the Southeast. Regulars at renowned Atlanta listening room Eddie’s Attic, they have also been featured on the TBS series Storyline, Fox 5’s Good Day Atlanta, and are regular guests on WRFG 89.3. Their independently released eponymous debut album Jackson County Line garnered glowing reviews from the likes of Paste Magazine, Georgia Music Magazine, Southeastern Performer, and The Muse’s Muse. Their second album, due out in early 2010 is eagerly anticipated.
Kevin Jackson sings and puts a little soul into Jackson County Line’s distinctive blend of Americana. He covers the acoustic guitar and lead vocals. Danielle Sansone covers backing vocals while Tim Anderson plays cello fills in the vocal harmonies. Matt Phillips wears many hats, playing mandolin, cornet, harmonica, and even an occasional bit of tenor guitar. Jonny D. bridges the melodic and rhythmic gap on both pedal steel and lead guitar. Cade Lewis fills in the bottom on bass and Paul Barrie keeps it all moving on drums and percussion.

The Bretheren, a five piece Funk/Soul/Blues band from Atlanta, Georgia, have been playing around the Southeast for over seventeen years, individually all have been playing for over thirty years each. Our current lineup includes Myles Watkins on drums and percussion; Myles has an extensive gospel and rock background and gives us our drive. Larry Lester joins Myles on guitar with his Steve Cropper style of playing to enhance the solid rhythm section. Glen Washington, our talented lead guitarist...and excellent groovemaster, bringing the church with him....our newest member, Keith "Doc" Samuels, gives us that big bottom that makes you want to dance, with his electrifiying bass riffs....... to add to our little group we have Captain Jonathan, a mainstay in Atlanta....who with his incredible singing abilities and smooth harmonies is an added compliment to the band
