Restaurants

Great opportunity to affordably showcase the unique and delicious food you offer the community every day. Make sure the residents and visitors in this area know why they should come eat at your restaurant! Deadline to apply is April 17th!

  • It is open to Restaurants that are located in South Metro Area
  • It only costs $50 for a Booth Space!
  • EPMSA sells $1 tickets (you don’t have to handle any money), you decide how many tickets your sample will require from patrons (1-3 tickets max).
  • EPMSA provides you with a ticket bin for collections at your booth
  • At the end of the night, we count the tickets and proceeds are split 50/50 (ex: if you collect 1,000 tickets, you get a check for $500!)
  • You may not sell/distribute samples of alcoholic beverages of any kind and you may not sell/distribute samples of  non-alcoholic beverages of any kind unless they are directly associated with your business (coffee house, juice bar).  Beverage sales are handled by the East Point Main Street Association and serve as a fundraiser.

This is a great way to market your restaurant: hand out flyers, coupons, business cards, tell people where you are, showcase samples of your signature dishes (including deserts!), have your staff wear your restaurant’s t-shirts, hang your banner on the front of your table and you can sell your promotional merchandise (mugs, t-shirts, etc.)

Some of the restaurants that participated in the 2011 event included Oz Pizza, Shack on Main BBQ, The Tavern @ J.R.Crickets, Benjamin’s of East Point, the Corner Tavern, Smoothie King, Malone’s Steak and Seafood, Joe’s on Sullivan, Chick-Fil-A, Atlanta RUB, the Tea Room, Lov’n It Live Vegetarian, Arden’s Garden and more!
 
Beer and Wine will be available for purchase, with ID only.

Artists

Great opportunity to affordably showcase your artistic talent to Metro Atlanta! Deadline to apply is April 17th!

  • It is open to Artists that live, work or attend school in South Metro Area
  • It only costs $25 for a Booth Space!

This is a great way to promote yourself!

Many local artists have a booth at the event with items on display including paintings, prints, handmade jewelry, wood bowls and other handmade wood products, illustrations, handmade greeting cards, handmade clothing and more!

Musicians

Great opportunity to showcase your musical talent to Metro Atlanta! Deadline to apply is March 31st!

  • It is open to Musicians or Bands (at least one member must qualify) that live, work or attend school in East Point or the South Metro Area
  • It is free to apply to be a performer at the event (see vendor form above)
  • If selected to perform on stage, your band’s information will be listed on the entertainment page: http://www.downtowneastpoint.com/tasteofeastpoint/entertainment/
  • If selected to perform on stage, you can have a free booth at the event to promote your music
  • If not selected to perform on stage, you can pay the $25 artist booth space fee to promote your band (you must have applied to perform by the deadline).
  • You can sell promotional CD’s, T-shirts, have a private listening station for your music at the booth (CD player with headphones) – no open playing of music at the booth

This is a great way to promote yourself!
