Seven Arts Center
O. Makeba & Johnny Snowden - Owners
Seven Arts Center was formed in 2009 and opened its doors in Downtown East Point in 2014, just two blocks from the East Point MARTA Train Station. Seven Arts Center is a family owned Art and Music Studio started by husband and wife team, O. Makeba and Johnny Snowden. The Snowden’s chose Downtown East Point because they felt it offered a rich culture and unique mix of traditional neighborhoods, which is ideal for their company. They felt that the small town feel of East Point created an environment that was conducive to a more intimate and pleasant atmosphere that allows people to come together to learn, connect and share in the colorful world of arts.
Seven Arts Center offers painting workshops for singles and couples (BYOB Nights). These workshops are designed to allow adults to relax and have fun as they explore their creative side while listen- ing to smooth sounds and enjoying great company . . . it’s truly a therapeutic experience!
The Seven Arts Center’s Teen and Kid’s Club was created to help children develop and nurture their interest in art and explore their creative side, which is beneficial to fostering their growth as young individu- als, while allowing their imagination to blossom.
In addition to offering classes, the center also sales art supplies, wine glasses and works of art.
