Joan Macaluso Shorter, Owner
Intown Focus Realty is located in the Lofts of East Point building, just one block from the East Point MARTA train station. The owner, Joan Macaluso Shorter, opened her door in Downtown East Point in 2012.
Joan is a resident of East Point and has become an expert in real estate for the East Point area over the last 13 years and is very knowledgeable about College Park and Hapeville real estate as well. Joan’s involvement in her community allows her to connect her clients with a large network of quality service providers which, in turn, supports the local community.
Joan chose Downtown East Point for her place of business because she felt like this was now her "hometown" and she wanted to have greater visibility and a greater impact on the community.
Intown Focus Realty represents buyers, sellers and landlords for renter placement and property management. In addition, Joan is working on a "Neighborhood Investment Program" to help buyers acquire and create the home of their dreams.
A little know fact about Joan is that she was on a championship winning ice skating precision team in her youth!
